While corals are typically found in nutrient-poor waters, they require essential elements and resources to remain healthy e.g. trace elements.

My group is working to understand natural nutrient dynamics on reefs, under both ambient and stress conditions. With this knowledge we are trailing tailored nutrition delivery that is showing promise in supporting the ability of corals to withstand stress.
